When over 33,000 publishing professionals and book lovers walk through the same doors, you know the books on display matter. Studio of Books was proud to bring such masterpieces at the much-anticipated 2026 London Book Fair.
“The Upside of Autism” by Esther C. Sellu stepped onto the international stage at the 2026 London Book Fair, held 10–12 March at Olympia, London. This year, the book fair welcomed 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.
The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the most prestigious events in the publishing world, uniting authors, publishers, literary agents, and industry professionals from over 100 countries. Far beyond a traditional book fair, it is a global marketplace for the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, film, and digital media — where deals are made, voices are amplified, and new stories find their readers.
This is where authors meet publishers, literary agents pitch to foreign buyers, and book lovers discover their next great read. It is, above all, where ideas become movements.
Every child rewrites the rules for the parent who loves them. Jojo rewrote everything.
The Upside of Autism is an honest, tender, and ultimately uplifting account of what it means to raise a child with autism — not through the lens of hardship alone, but through the far more complex and beautiful truth of it. From Jojo’s earliest days as a curious, water-loving little boy to his growing passions for sports, music, and food, this is a life brimming with personality, breakthrough, and quiet wonder.
The road has not always been easy. School, social hurdles, and unexpected setbacks each demanded something new — more patience, more advocacy, more faith. But with every challenge came a revelation. And with every revelation, a deeper understanding of what love, in its most unconditional form, actually looks like.
This is more than a book about autism. It is a story about a family that refused to be defined by a diagnosis — and discovered, in that refusal, something far greater than they expected. For parents, educators, and anyone seeking a more human understanding of neurodiversity, The Upside of Autism is an open-hearted reminder that the unexpected paths are often the ones most worth walking.
