When over 33,000 publishing professionals and book lovers walk through the same doors, you know the books on display matter. Studio of Books was proud to bring such masterpieces at the much-anticipated 2026 London Book Fair.
“The Adventures of Billy Molar: The S. Mutans Revolution” by Anne Sprabery stepped onto the international stage at the 2026 London Book Fair, held 10–12 March at Olympia, London. This year, the book fair welcomed 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.
The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the most prestigious events in the publishing world, uniting authors, publishers, literary agents, and industry professionals from over 100 countries. Far beyond a traditional book fair, it is a global marketplace for the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, film, and digital media — where deals are made, voices are amplified, and new stories find their readers.
This is where authors meet publishers, literary agents pitch to foreign buyers, and book lovers discover their next great read. It is, above all, where ideas become movements.
This narrative was highly praised by Nicole Yurcaba of The US Review of Books, acknowledging that “This book is an adventure that young readers will return to again and again. The illustrations and the story’s plot will engage their imaginations. Characters like Doc Molar and Bristles are unique and inspiring because they help young readers learn about respecting and caring for others. At the same time, these characters teach kids about respectful attitudes in general while engaging children with lessons about oral hygiene. Children learn about the importance of brushing their teeth, using fluoride, and developing good practices that they can carry with them throughout their lives. This book will surely bring smiles to readers of all ages.”
Somewhere between bedtime and dreamland, a battle is being fought and your teeth need a hero.
“The Adventures of Billy Molar: The S. Mutans Revolution” whisks young readers into an imaginative dream world where mischievous bacteria run wild and tooth decay is on the march. Standing between chaos and a clean smile are the unlikely but unstoppable duo: Doc Molar and his loyal sidekick, Bristles.
Packed with humor, heart, and just the right amount of adventure, this story delivers a clever message about oral health in the most painless way possible — through a really good tale. It is the kind of book that makes kids laugh, keeps parents engaged, and somehow makes brushing feel like the heroic act it truly is.
Anne Sprabery grew up in Meridian, Mississippi, and went on to graduate from Creighton Dental School. Over the course of her dentistry career, she saw firsthand what happens when children grow up without the tools — or the enthusiasm — to care for their oral health.
That realization sparked a mission. Passionate about reaching young minds in a way that sticks, Sprabery channeled her expertise and her energy into storytelling — creating a world where dental health is not a lecture, but an adventure worth going on.
