Readers usually keep a TBR or To Be Read list for them to keep track of what books they intend to read at some point in the future, whether it’s new releases or older titles they haven’t gotten to yet. This list can also help readers stay organized, make better reading choices, and avoid feeling overwhelmed by a large collection of unread books.
Arrey Obenson was born on April 22, 1971, in Cameroon. He is a seasoned lawyer with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, earned in 2005, and a law degree from the University of Yaoundé, Cameroon, obtained in 1992. He was admitted to the Cameroon Bar Association in December 1999.
Currently, Obenson is the Chief Executive Officer and partner at Transformunity LLC, a consulting firm specializing in strategy development, movement building, advocacy, and organizing strategic events. Before founding Transformunity, he served as the Chief Administrative Officer (Secretary General) of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global nonprofit organization present in over 120 countries, engaging hundreds of thousands of young people. With over 15 years of organizational leadership experience, Obenson was instrumental in developing and executing strategies that led to significant transformation within JCI.
In addition to his consulting work, Obenson serves on several boards, including the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens and the International Chamber of Commerce/World Chambers Federation. He is also the founder of I Am Cameroon, a movement dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering Cameroonians to take responsibility for their country’s development.
An active citizen and dynamic speaker, Obenson focuses on solving global challenges by bringing together actors from all sectors—business, government, and civil society—to identify opportunities for growth. He has spoken in nearly 100 countries, inspiring audiences worldwide with his thought leadership.
In “Bridging the Opportunity Gap,” Obenson shifts the focus from challenges to opportunities. With nearly two decades of leadership experience, he offers a fresh perspective for leaders, sharing impactful stories and practical principles that empower readers to rise above obstacles and drive meaningful change. This book is not just a guide—it’s a powerful tool for leaders seeking to elevate their organizations and communities to the next level.
