When over 33,000 publishing professionals and book lovers walk through the same doors, you know the books on display matter. Studio of Books was proud to bring such masterpieces at the much-anticipated 2026 London Book Fair.

“A Difficult Day At Dance” by Christine Leonardi-Kramer stepped onto the international stage at the 2026 London Book Fair, held 10–12 March at Olympia, London. This year, the book fair welcomed 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.

The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the most prestigious events in the publishing world, uniting authors, publishers, literary agents, and industry professionals from over 100 countries. Far beyond a traditional book fair, it is a global marketplace for the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, film, and digital media — where deals are made, voices are amplified, and new stories find their readers.

This is where authors meet publishers, literary agents pitch to foreign buyers, and book lovers discover their next great read. It is, above all, where ideas become movements.

Christine Leonardi-Kramer, known to generations of students simply as Miss Christine, is a mother, author, and dance educator whose love for the art has never once slowed down.

Over a career spanning five decades, she has learned from icons, performed across the globe, and poured everything she knows into the students who came after her. She trained under legends including Charles “Chuck” Kelley, danced her way through New York City, and took her act “Babe” to stages around the world. When the curtain came down on performing, a new chapter opened one that would prove just as meaningful.

As the founder and owner of Great Expectations: A Dance Center, Miss Christine built a beloved institution on Staten Island that served families for 35 years. She taught children, watched them grow, and had the joy of welcoming their own children into her studio. From 2009 to 2020, she also brought her passion to the Wagner High School Theater Department, shaping young performers at a pivotal time in their lives.

Today, Miss Christine continues to teach dance and exercise on Staten Island leading Zumba classes for adults and senior citizens, and working on her next book. But perhaps what moves her most is this: the students she once inspired have turned around and inspired her right back. It is their shared experiences, their laughter, growth, and love of movement, that live in these pages.
