When over 33,000 publishing professionals and book lovers walk through the same doors, you know the books on display matter. Studio of Books was proud to bring such masterpieces at the much-anticipated 2026 London Book Fair.
“Advice from the Penguins” by Dr. Muriel McClellan stepped onto the international stage at the 2026 London Book Fair, held 10–12 March at Olympia, London. This year, the book fair welcomed 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.
The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the most prestigious events in the publishing world, uniting authors, publishers, literary agents, and industry professionals from over 100 countries. Far beyond a traditional book fair, it is a global marketplace for the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, film, and digital media — where deals are made, voices are amplified, and new stories find their readers.
This is where authors meet publishers, literary agents pitch to foreign buyers, and book lovers discover their next great read. It is, above all, where ideas become movements.
In Advice from the Penguins, Dr. Muriel McClellan — psychologist, world traveler, and wildlife photographer — invites readers into one of the most breathtaking corners of the earth: South Georgia and Antarctica. What began as a photography expedition became something far more unexpected. Surrounded by thousands of penguins in their natural habitat, Dr. McClellan found herself listening — and what she heard was wisdom worth sharing.
The result is a stunning collection of wildlife photography paired with captions that weave together psychological insight and the quiet, grounded lessons the penguins seemed to offer. Each image captures the raw beauty of the Antarctic landscape. Each caption offers something to carry into everyday life — a gentle nudge toward clarity, resilience, connection, or simply slowing down.
It is part coffee table book, part life guide, and entirely unlike anything else on the shelf.
Dr. Muriel McClellan holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University and built a successful counseling practice on the foundation of that expertise. But her heart has always had one foot in the wild. An avid wildlife photographer, she has traveled extensively to photograph animals in their natural environments — camera in hand and curiosity leading the way.
Advice from the Penguins is the beautiful collision of both worlds: the science of human wellbeing and the unfiltered wisdom of nature. Dr. McClellan hopes the photos delight you — and that the words help you live a little better.
