When over 33,000 publishing professionals and book lovers walk through the same doors, you know the books on display matter. Studio of Books was proud to bring such masterpieces at the much-anticipated 2026 London Book Fair.

“Our Adventure to the Pirate King Island” by Beth-Berger Caldwell stepped onto the international stage at the 2026 London Book Fair, held 10–12 March at Olympia, London. This year, the book fair welcomed 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.

The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the most prestigious events in the publishing world, uniting authors, publishers, literary agents, and industry professionals from over 100 countries. Far beyond a traditional book fair, it is a global marketplace for the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, film, and digital media — where deals are made, voices are amplified, and new stories find their readers.

This is where authors meet publishers, literary agents pitch to foreign buyers, and book lovers discover their next great read. It is, above all, where ideas become movements.

“Our Adventure to the Pirate King Island” follows the story of three siblings, Rana, Polli, and Pada, are deciding what to do over breakfast. Polli mentions that in her dream, she heard about a treasure map hidden in their house. The first clue is “in a cave near the TV land.” The three of them start looking for the first clue, which leads them to the second clue, till they find the treasure map. Once they find the treasure map, they see many fun and interesting places to go. Pada thinks they should go to the Pirate King’s Island, and maybe they could find some treasure. That would help them get to the other places on the map.

Once they get the island, they meet Lars the Pirate King. They visit with Lars for a while, and Lars gives them a tour of his treehouse. Including the room with all of his treasures. They loved his treehouse, and while they were at the very top. Lars told them to watch the sunset very closely because he felt the conditions maybe just be right for a green flash that day. He explains what the green flash is over the ocean. They noticed that it was getting late and they needed to get back home.

This masterpiece was highly praised by Carolyn Davis of The US Review of Books, stating that “This story for young people intersperses adventure and fun with the characters. It teaches about having a sense of responsibility for the feelings, experiences, and possessions of others. The siblings’ desire for new experiences is tempered by their knowledge of the need to keep their environment clean, not to take anything that doesn’t belong to them, to obey social rules, and focus on positive stories and experiences, such as learning that a pirate king can be welcoming and caring, and a dragon thoughtful and helpful.”
