Author Rodney’s interest in science and religion began at a young age. It was the mystique of visits to the family doctor that awakened the lore of science. He shared that when he was four years old, he sadly witnessed the tragic death of a beloved puppy that was run over by a vehicle.
His impressive science education includes a B.A. in Chemistry, M.S. in biochemistry, and an M.D. degree. He also completed a four-year residency in therapeutic and diagnostic radiology following several years of general medical practice. His radiology career spanned several decades and included academic, group, and solo practice positions.
With his education in science, medicine, and religion, he shares his belief in fundamental harmony between true science and true religion as advocated by William Paley and Thomas Aquinas.
He has five children, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He and his wife, Donna, have lived in Florida since 2004.
