The Frankfurt Book Fair provided an opportunity for outstanding books to shine this year. Both readers and publishing industry leaders were drawn to these pieces because of their compelling themes and distinctive viewpoints. They prompted discussions, inspired new perspectives, and served as a reminder of the broad appeal of storytelling.

The Rapture: Leaving in Chariots of Fire by Dewey W. Williams is a compelling exploration of the power and promise of salvation as revealed in Scripture. Rooted in the bold declaration of Romans 1:16—“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth”—this book examines the unshakable faith of the Apostle Paul and its profound relevance for believers today.

With a focus on the divine plan for humanity and the hope of the rapture, Williams offers an inspiring and thought-provoking perspective on living a life anchored in the gospel’s transformative power. Whether you are a seasoned scholar or new to exploring biblical prophecy, this work invites readers to embrace the eternal hope found in Christ.

Dr. Dewey W. Williams has been in the ministry for over 40 years. He is a passionate student of the Bible and History.

Being born in Roanoke, Virginia in 1956, he was raised in a pastor’s home and made many moves in his early life.

He was saved in 1964 in a church in Giles County, Virginia that was built from the materials that survived the great fire that destroyed the famous Wabash Camp Grounds in 1897. This Methodist Camp was directed by Brother Robert Sheffy.
